Statement of Faith & Beliefs

We believe that the Bible is the God-Breathed word of God and that it is a factual and historical account of the creation of the world through the birth, life, and death of Jesus Christ, and that it is the account of God’s plan of salvation. (Luke 24:44-49, II Tim. 3:14-17)
We believe that in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)
We believe that God is the Holy Trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (John 1:1, John 10:30, Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19)
We believe in the Majesty, Sovereignty, and Omnipotence of God; that He created the heavens and the earth and that He Alone is God of the universe. (Genesis 1, Deut. 4:39, Isaiah 44:6)
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God. (Luke 1:35, Galatians 4:4-6, John 3:16)
We believe that Jesus was a human man, born of a virgin, that he alone was sinless and blameless before God, and that he died on the cross of Cavalry as a sacrificial lamb to save the souls of all mankind. We also believe that Jesus was resurrected on the 3rd day, and is now in Heaven with God. (Matthew 1:18-25, Isaiah 7:14, John 1:14, I John 4:9, II Peter 2:21-24, II Corin. 5:21, I John, 3:5, I Peter 1: 18-19)
We believe that only through repentance, baptism, and a faithful life are we forgiven of our sins and receive the grace, mercy, and salvation of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:18-20, John 3:15-16, John 14:6, Acts 3:19, Romans 10:9, II Timothy 4:2, Romans 1:16)
We believe that we are called to live the faithful life of a servant of Christ as a living sacrifice. (Romans 12:1-2)
We believe that we are called to serve, teach, guide, and lead others to Christ: that this is our sole mission and purpose in life. (Matthew 25:35-40, Matthew 28: 16-20, I Peter 4:7-11, I John 3:18)
We believe in the sacred covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6, I Corin. 7:2, Ephesians 5:22-23, Hebrews 13:4)

We believe that homosexuality and any type of sexual immorality is a sin and an abomination in the eyes of God. (Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26-27, I Corin. 6:9-10, I Timothy I: 8-11)
We believe that our bodies are the Holy Temple of God and that God desires purity of our body and soul. (I Corin. 6:12-20; Romans 12:1-2)
We believe that every person is given a gift or a talent, and that we are to use our gifts and talents to glorify God. (Exodus 35:10; I Corin. 12:4-6)
